Spotlight: Skyway36 Droneport/Airport Manager announcement

DronePort Network Announces new Skyway36 Droneport/Airport Manager

DronePort Network is pleased to announce the hiring of Aaron Baker as Skyway36 Droneport/Airport Manager. In this role, he will be responsible for overall facility operations and tenant engagement at the Osage LLC Skyway36 facility. He will also serve as UAS testing and management liaison for the Northern Oklahoma UAS Flight Test Corridor.

Mr. Baker is an aviation industry veteran with two decades of management, leadership, and team building experience across multiple industries. He has experience with FAA Part 135 and Part 91 flight operations, as well as Part 61 flight schools. Additionally, Aaron is a Part 107 certified UAS operator. As a leader in the aerospace industry, Aaron is helping to shape the future of aviation and mobility with cutting edge AAM and UAS technologies.

"Aaron is a key piece of the puzzle in our work at Skyway36, and we're excited to have him on board. His vast aviation management experience, combined with his specific UAS certification make him the ideal person to help direct the work onsite at Skyway36", said Craig Mahaney, CEO of DronePort Network.

Skyway 36 is an important component of the Tulsa Regional Advanced Mobility (TRAM) Corridor projec, connecting Oklahoma State University (OSU), Osage and Tulsa facilities within a 114-nautical mile flight corridor for Unmanned Aerial System and Advanced Air Mobility research and testing. It is an Osage Nation technology innovation zone and droneport which includes a 40-acre light industry park suited for manufacturing. It features 400+ contiguous acres, 80,000+ square feet of office space, and a 3,000'x40' paved runway.

"The Board is thrilled to put Aaron's strong aviation background to use helping develop Skyway36 into both an emerging aerospace innovation hub and high-tech job creator for the Osage Nation", said Rick Perrier, Osage LLC Board Member.
