2020 UAS Tech Forum pivoting to fully virtual event; Rescheduled for Sept. 9-10

Out of abundance of caution, especially in light of the continued COVID-19 pandemic, the UAS Cluster Initiative team has made the decision to go fully virtual with this year’s UAS Tech Forum. The date for the 2020 UAS Tech Forum has also been moved up from Sept. 16-17 to Sept. 9-10 to avoid any potential scheduling conflicts with other national drone conferences that might have been scheduled during the third week of September.

The decision to go fully virtual was not made lightly as our team sought guidance and counsel from various industry officials, colleagues, sponsors and other stakeholders. With the sudden spike in COVID-19 cases across the U.S. recently, coupled with the possibility of further roll backs of various phases of business openings, which could include limiting gatherings of large groups of people, this was a prudent and necessary decision. The health, well-being and safety of our attendees, guest speakers, staff and others are our top priorities.

Even though we will hold the UAS Tech Forum online this year rather than in-person in Oklahoma City as was originally planned, our staff is nevertheless still hard at work putting together a robust agenda that you have come to expect, an agenda filled with expert keynotes and relevant and timely panel discussions, technology demonstrations, virtual exhibits, and more. Our powerful virtual platform will also afford one-on-one interactions throughout the two-day event through various networking opportunities.

Join your peers in this re-imagined event where you will learn and connect with others from across the nation and globe who, much like yourself, have a deep passion and interest in drones and an unquenching desire to expand and build the UAS industry into the economic powerhouse it is quickly becoming.

Please visit the UAS Tech Forum website today and check out the current agenda and new registration rates. And check back periodically to see the most current agenda available.
