Remote information collection, situational awareness, and adaptive response system for improving advance threat awareness and hazardous risk avoidance (RICSAARS)
Naval Surface Warfare Center - Crane Division

A Navy scientist recently developed a situational awareness, adaptive automation, and decision support system that can be used in various environments with respect to mobile systems, platforms, or entities along paths of travel.

The technology is applicable to unmanned mobile reconnaissance vehicles (UMRV)/unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) searching for, and analyzing, the frequencies of devices in the path of a mobile control vehicle (MCV) to locate conditions of interest and relay this information to the MCV.

The patented technology is available via patent license agreement to companies that would make, use, or sell it commercially.
