Randall ‘Randy' Burke named as Executive Director of Skyway Range.
Skyway Range, Inc. has announced the appointment of Randall "Randy" Burke as the Executive Director.
Located west of Tulsa and in the Northeastern Oklahoma area, Skyway Range offers extensive testing services for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and advanced air mobility (AAM) technologies across a 1,200-square-mile range. With access to urban, rural, and controlled airspace, along with 300+ flyable days annually, it supports performance validation under diverse conditions. Key facilities include support for droneports, runways for fixed-wing and VTOL aircraft, and specialized areas for fire and explosives testing.
Skyway Range services can provide customers with technical support, regulatory guidance, prototyping, and training services, ensuring smooth certification processes and innovation development. Skyway Range also provides access to expert staffing and industry partnerships, creating a flexible, results-driven environment for advancing UAS and AAM solutions
As Executive Director, Mr. Burke will serve as the principal liaison with clients, assisting in identifying range requirements, coordinating appropriate resources, and scheduling actual Range events. Unique requirements may include additional observers, command and control equipment, supporting UAS systems, or specific terrain conditions.
