Rethink Vertical Podcast with the Tulsa Innovation Labs Team and the THETA Tech Hub.
The Rethink Vertical Podcast is back this month with a new host, UAS Cluster Initiative State Director, Kinsley Jordan. In this podcast, Kinsley features the Tulsa Innovation Labs and the Tulsa Hub for Equitable & Trustworthy Autonomy (THETA Tech Hub).
The announcement of the THETA Tech Hub grant by the U.S. Economic Development Administration has generated significant excitement in the Tulsa area and across the nation. In this episode, Kinsley talks with the Patrick Hosford (Senior Associate, Place & Infrastructure), Justin Kits (Director, Public Affairs), and John McDonald (Head of Strategy and Initiatives) of Tulsa Innovation Labs to explore the implications and future of Tulsa's Tech Hub designation and grant funding. Hear about the exciting prospects ahead for secure autonomy along with how the Tulsa Innovation Labs team is leading that effort.

Festival highlights include:
Friday, October 4th: Film and photo awards show, drone light show, and VIP after-party. See filmmakers and photographers from around the globe as they gather to showcase their breathtaking drone work across various categories, judged by a panel of esteemed professionals, including Emmy Award winners.
Saturday, October 5th: Industry education, demos, panel discussions, FPV drone racing, drone soccer, and more. Saturday will be packed with a range of engaging seminars, panels, and demos on drone technology. Don't miss the thrilling drone soccer and the FPV tiny-whoop races at the Sky-high Shootout, where speed and precision will be on full display!
Last year in Woodward, OK, the festival had over 350 attendees and hundreds of films/photos submitted from across the globe. This year, even more enthusiasts, filmmakers, racers, and tech fans are expected.
