Counter-swarm interception with self-organizing sacrificial UAVs
Naval Air Warfare Center - Weapons Division

Army scientists invented software that rapidly creates 2D and 3D maps from Full Motion Video (FMV).

The Navy has developed a counter swarm system that includes a group of UAVs (air-dropped canisters with small explosive payload, and maneuverability functionality) working together for target detection, tracking, guidance, positioning, and wireless communication.

The patented technology is available via express license agreement to companies that would make, use, or sell it commercially.
