Is your company up for a challenge? The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will partner with qualified commercial companies who can match the agency's $6 million pledge to perform vital drone integration safety work at the FAA's UAS test sites.

The Air Force has invented a 3-D, stereoscopic vision system that fuses visible, infrared and multispectral images from multiple cameras for maneuvering unmanned or autonomous vehicles.

This technology could be embedded in the grille of an autonomous vehicle in order to provide enhanced safety through additional awareness.

Businesses or entrepreneurs can license the patent rights to the vision system for commercial development.
