Spotlight: Oklahoma UAS/AAM industry at AUVSI XPONENTIAL conference
Oklahoma UAS industry participated in the Association of Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) XPONENTIAL conference.

Representatives from the Oklahoma UAS industry participated in the Association of Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) XPONENTIAL conference the week of April 25th in Orlando Florida. In addition to UASCI, organizations and companies representing Oklahoma's UAS/AAM industry included: Tulsa Innovation Labs; AirWise Solutions; Vigilant Aerospace; The Unmanned Systems Research Institute at Oklahoma State University; Berry Aviation: Acorn Growth Companies; Skydweller Aero: FISTA Innovation Park; and the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission.

Noteable Oklahoma related presentations at the event included

A presentation sponsored by Tulsa Innovation Lab on 'Supercharging your AAM R&D in Northeast Oklahoma' promoted the region's environment to support the advanced aerial mobility industry including world-renowned university research, a fast-growing startup and venture capital ecosystem, nationally unique flight-testing infrastructure and airspace assets. Speaking at this presentation were: Daniel Plaisance, Associate, Advanced Aerial Mobility at Tulsa Innovation Lab; Dr. Jamey Jacob, Director of Unmanned systems research institute at Oklahoma State University; and Zac Clark, Founder and CEO of AirWise Solutions.

AUVSI XPONENTIAL is one of the premier events in the UAS & AAM industry and featuring the latest innovations in uncrewed and autonomous vehicles, whether by air, land, or sea. This year there were 100 or more functional UAVs present at this event which illustrates the industry is extremely active in technology, innovation, and new product development.
